A delivery device to topically administer radioprotector molecule to skin of human radiotherapy patients to prevent radiation-induced dermatitis

Project Overview

The goal of this project is to design a disposable applicator for topical, drug-containing solutions. The device should be able to apply 10 mL of the topical solution to a cancer patient receiving radiotherapy over the course of 30 days. There is a current study under way which could make use of such a device.
