Project Overview

Doxorubicin chemotherapy in female patients can result in infertility as a result of induced cellular toxicity in the ovaries. Our client, Dr. Sana Salih, has researched the effects of dexrazoxane (Dexra) in the ovaries to prevent DNA damage during chemotherapy. The goal of this project is to design an endo-bag that will selectively deliver Dexra to the ovaries to prevent non-targeted toxicity.
