Project Overview

Our goal is to identify radiologic-pathologic correlation on renal cell carcinoma (RCC) tumors using a CT-specific device. Tissue from ex vivo tumors will be analyzed using pathologic techniques in order to better quantify texture features. The device should be able to accommodate a variety of sizes of tumors, ranging from 7 to 20 cm in length. Our hope is that this device will allow for more specified treatment of RCC.
