Project Overview

ECGs are a vital part of medicine. However, the system to obtain the ECG with electrode sticker attached to wires is cumbersome and time intensive.

We have the opportunity to redesign the attachment system for ECG acquisition.

Goals:
1) to be faster
2) to be less likely to loose contact with electrode clips/ more secure

objective:
Combine the V1-V6 leads into a single rapidly placed electrode system with a single attachment to the ECG machine. We can also consider adding the LA in this attachment.

Needs:
conductive connection points
rapid placement
requirement for placement at specific sites on chest wall
disposable (or easily cleaned).
connection adaptor cable from electrode to machine
