Computerized or mechanical 3D model for neuro-endoscopic teaching and practice
Project Overview
A practicing neurosurgeon has asked for a model of the ventricles of the human brain to assist in teaching. We're currently developing a realistic model to help teach a procedure called Endoscopic Third Ventriculostomy. This procedure is used mainly in the treatment of hydrocephalus to relieve the pressure in the brain due to a build-up of cerebrospinal fluid.
