Fetal radiation shield for pregnant patients receiving radiation therapy

Project Overview

When a pregnant woman needs to undergo radiation therapy, there is a need to protect the fetus from the radiation. This requires the use of shields made out of heavy materials like lead. Our goal is to create such a shield that is mobile, compatible with various treatment techniques and machines, and is safe for both the woman and the fetus.
