Login for More InformationA low-cost, easy-to-use home test device for rapid detection of urinary stones. It identifies key risk markers in urine and provides clear, fast results, enabling early intervention, preventive care, and reduced reliance on clinical testing.
Project Overview
The device will use simple chemical sensors or test strips to detect key indicators of kidney stone formation, such as calcium, oxalate, and uric acid in a urine sample. Designed for home use, it will deliver results in minutes without requiring medical training. With a compact, affordable design and optional app connectivity for result tracking, the device will support early detection, ongoing monitoring, and better management of kidney stone risk. It is especially useful for individuals with a history of stones or those in high-risk groups, offering a practical solution for preventive care and reducing healthcare burdens.
