sEMG femoral nerve palsy diagnostic device for improved treatment of hip dysplasia in Pavlik harness-wearing infants.

Project Overview

Femoral nerve palsy, a complication of Pavlik harness use, can delay hip dysplasia treatment by necessitating harness removal. The Pavlik harness kick sensor will detect the onset of femoral nerve palsy in advance of human intervention, accelerating hip dysplasia treatment.
