Modular touchscreen-based training device for rhesus macaque in-cage behavioral training
Create an automated primate experiment and training system.
Project Overview
The team has been tasked with creating an automated system in which a primate will interact with a touchscreen and get rewards based on their performance in a task. This is a new project so the team is focused on creating a solid mechanical design along with a circuit system to pump out reward(juice) to the primates. The product aims to be easy to use by any lab assistants along with being modular as future experiments may require some change to the design and the client wants that to be an easy process.
