Design, testing and calibration of a small syringe for use with a power injector
Design Award
- Tong Biomedical Design Award Winner
Project Overview
The ability to inject contrast medium at accurate volumes and rates is important for a variety of angiographic studies. Widely available power injectors do not allow injections of small e.g. 1-2 cc, volumes and thus are limited utility for small animal studies. This project will involve design, construction, testing and calibration of a small syringe compatible with a commercially available power injector.
