Project Overview

There is a need for a non-invasive method to access the uterus without causing patient pain or increasing procedural time, complexity, or cost for the purpose of delivering cells, fluids, et cetera. Typical procedures and tools include hysterosalpingogram (HSG), saline infusion sonohysterography (SIS), in vitro fertilization (IVF-ET), speculum, and tenaculum. 80% of procedural pain is associated to use of the tenaculum. The solution must be intended for non-child bearing women in their 30's and 40's, inexpensive(under $150), and comfortable.
