Mobile arm support for wheelchair tennis/adaptive sports/gaming
Project Overview
Mr. Dan Dorszynski has Becker muscular dystrophy and would like a product to help him play tennis. Currently, he has difficulty picking up his arms to do a forehand or backhand swing which can make playing tennis difficult. Mr. Dorszynski copes with the backhand by doing a 360 degree spin in his wheelchair hoping he will hit it. The issue with this is, is that he will have his back turned to the ball for a second making it hard to hit. Ideally our client would want a device that will help him pick up his arms so he can play tennis better.
