Dental hand piece scope
Project Overview
Our client, Dr. Tipple, has tasked us with designing, prototyping, and testing a camera that can be attached to the end of a dental drill to allow the dentist a better viewing angle for hard-to-reach areas of the mouth. The camera should be waterproof to prevent ejected water from interfering with either view or circuitry and should provide clear contrast between yellow and white colors to better differentiate enamel, the hard white coating of teeth, from yellow dentin, the softer interior of teeth. It should also be capable of connecting to a computer and of displaying a live video feed.
