This project involves the creation of a virtual POCUS training model for neonatologists. The model will allow doctors to practice using an ultrasound probe on a model baby and see the ultrasound images that are representative of where the probe has been placed. This will help doctors better understand the ultrasound atlas of an infant in real time while working in a low pressure environment that combines physical and virtual simulation to provide a realistic training experience. Our product bridges the gap that exists in procedural training for neonatologists when operating on premature babies.
