High Throughput Activity Measurement Device for Mice in Diet Research Study

Project Overview

The client’s research lab is planning to conduct a robust study investigating connections between diet, genetics, and overall health. The lab will be using genetically diverse mice and wants to track each mouse’s activity levels in order to understand how diet and genetics may be interconnected with activity. Current rodent activity tracking devices are expensive and not suitable for studies of more than a few mice. For this reason, the client requests a device that will provide a quantitative measurement of the overall activity of an individual mouse over the course of 2-3 days.
