Global Health: Prevention of diabetic foot ulceration and amputation
We will create a more cost effective way to obtain a thermal image of a diabetic’s feet and create user friendly software that makes the data easy to interpret and understand.
Project Overview
We are looking to create a preventative solution to India's diabetic foot ulcer problem. We will do this by developing a low-cost way to measure temperature from the feet of diabetic patients, and develop an app-based software to further interpret the images and thermal maps collected by the client while in India.
