Create a disposable device that elevates the impacted fetal head from the pelvis in a safe and easy way to limit complications during a cesarean section.

Project Overview

The elevator being designed should elevate an impacted fetal head lodged deeply within the maternal pelvis. It should be used during a cesarean section when normal methods of delivery are unable to be performed. The device should prevent trauma to the fetal head and prevent tears in the uterus that can cause life-threatening hemorrhaging to mothers.
