Creating a system involving infrared imaging and RGB-D sensors to detect NEC in newborn babies at an earlier stage of development.

Project Overview

The team is brainstorming multiple ways to intertwine the use of thermal imaging, RGB-D sensors, and infrared imaging to create a system that can be used to detect NEC in premature babies. The client is asking for a small, accurate camera system that can provide thermal mapping of temperature variations within the babies. Understanding and recording these temperature differences will allow professionals to detect illnesses at earlier stages of development.
