Login for More InformationDesign a flask which allows for media exchange under closed conditions to prevent contamination and make the client's production of MSCs more scalable.
Project Overview
The client has tasked us with creating a cell culturing flask which allows for greater production of Mesenchymal Stromal Cells (MSCs) while limiting exposure to air. The closed culturing will decrease contamination risks, as well as creating a scalable manufacturing process for the client to harness for their production of MSCs. The MSCs are used in therapeutics, which makes the safety and growth of the cells crucial considerations in the design process. Overall, the closed system must sterile and be manufactured under sterile conditions, to ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and cleanroom standards.
