Medication delivery and use in home-based hospital care
A medication delivery device to use in home based medical care
Project Overview
Patients when entering home-based hospital care that have poor vision, weak grip strength, or shaky hands tend to struggle when opening and taking their medication. Currently hospital packaging takes too much physical force and hand control. This then leads to issues with taking the correct doses, dropping medication, or completely skipping it. We need an easy tool that patients like these can use to open their medication without difficulty or the need of a care provider.
