Project Overview
This project aims to develop a supine knee extension ergometer that can be used in a GE Signa Premier 3T MRI to simultaneously collect force data from isometric and dynamic knee extension exercise while also obtaining phosphorous magnetic resonance information from the MRI scan. The mechanical performance and P-MRS data can then be used to analyze bioenergetics and muscle fatigue in adults.
