Project Overview
Axillary Web Syndrome, also known as Cording, occurs when thick scar tissue forms and runs from the inside of your underarm to the inside of your arm after breast surgery. This can prevent the movement or use of your arm and is a source of discomfort for patients. A sleeve-based device paired with an app is necessary to act as a guide to direct patients through exercises to prevent scar tissue formation and reduced arm mobility associated with the condition.
