Obstetric belly band
Project Overview
During delivery a belly band may be placed around the abdomen to keep in place the tocometer (that measures contractions) and the ultrasound (that measures the fetal heart rate). It is elastic, about 6 inches wide and similar to http://fetamed.com/index.php?page=fetaband-body-stockings-2 . In use, the edges tend to roll up and form an uncomfortable ridge. Design a fabric belly band that has more rigidity in the transverse direction so it doesn't roll up.
