Sensing Forceps
Project Overview
Body tissues have different force thresholds before damage begins to occur. In order to discovering what these threshold values are, a specialized forceps needs continued development to measure this force and give real-time feedback to the user. Once these threshold values are determined, they can be clinically used in order to prevent of tissue damage during surgical procedures. Also, these forceps can be utilized as a training tool for new surgeons.
