Project Overview
Our client, Dr. Emily Hartmann, uses a right angle forceps frequently during surgeries that have deep holes. This forceps is used to expose tissue for cutting. However, in deep hole operations, her other hand is usually occupied and it is difficult and frustrating to try to navigate a scissors or a cauterizing device to cut the tissue that she exposes. In order to increase efficiency and ease of use, she has asked us to create a hybrid forceps scissors instrument to allow for easier deep hole dissections.
