Project Overview
The team is aiming to create either an addition or a new version of the Goldmann tonometer that will allow an untrained user to obtain consistent and accurate results when performing intraocular pressure tests. Currently, the team is looking to do this via adding capacitive sensors to the tip of the tonometer, and using a circuit connected to these capacitors to calculate whether the eye is in contact with the correct area of the tonometer.
