Exercise device for child with profound weakness for use in a wheelchair

Project Overview

Children with certain neuromuscular diseases have profound weakness but potentially have the ability to either gain strength or at least maintain strength but have difficulty finding methods to exercise. This device will need to attach to a wheelchair for a specific child that cannot sit up so she may exercise her arms and legs. New disease modifying therapies are now available and there is a potential for this child to even gain functional ability.
