Project Overview

We designed a stable, osteointegratable metacarpophalangeal joint replacement for patients who do not have functional collateral ligaments or a volar plate. We modeled our design, ran an FEA analysis and prototyped the final design. We also wrote a journal article, and submitted our design to WARF for patenting evaluation.
