Design and construction of a quad rat vitals monitor
Project Overview
In order to maintain appropriate anesthesia dosages on four rats during PET imaging experiments, a device must be developed to monitor heart rates, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) levels, respiratory rates, and rectal temperatures of each rat individually. The goal this semester is to finish the project. This includes signal integration, finalizing the interface and algorithms, building a housing device, and conducting verification tests.
