Project Overview

The client, Ms. Kate Munns, suffers from a severed peroneal nerve that caused a left rocker bottom foot to form. While the client has tried multiple treatment options in the past, she still suffers from pain and an inability to maintain her active lifestyle. The primary task is to build a device to relieve the pain caused by rocker bottom foot while performing daily activities. The device must be under $200 and fit into a variety of footwear in order to maximize functionality and the mobility of the user. Additionally, the design must provide stability and support while being lightweight, durable, and not undermining the user’s balance.
