Project Overview
The desired device requires the design of the pill dispensing mechanism, including the enclosure and associated electronics. The device should hold at least 1 week of medication, automate the process of dispensing the correct dosages and dispense the medications at the correct time. An alert system should be in place such that the user is notified when medication should be taken, ensure the user takes the medication, and provide health care workers the ability to monitor a patient’s prescription usage and supply remotely.
