Project Overview
Stethoscopes are devices that are able to amplify sounds from within the body making it possible for healthcare workers to hear them clearly. Even then the usage of a stethoscope limits the ability of listening to a patient’s internal sounds to one person due to its design. More than one healthcare worker not being able to share one stethoscope may create some issues in the cases of needed consultations. Having multiple people utilize the same stethoscope may cause sanitary issues due to ear tips not being ideal to be replaced. With an amplified stethoscope adaptation, multiple people could listen to a patient’s internal body sounds at the same time. This would become helpful for a faster and more accurate diagnosis and it would allow the training of new students in the medical field.
