A contraceptive, vaginal ring infused with vaginal microbiome-supporting probiotics to promote vaginal health.

Project Overview

The goal of this project is to modify an existing contraceptive ring design by adding probiotics to improve the vaginal microbiome. The probiotics increase vaginal acidity, allowing for better clearance of vaginal infections such as bacterial vaginosis and HPV.
