VetMed: 3D printed, patient specific incline plane for management of class 2 malocclusion - Improvement in design and workflow

Maximize function and improve workflow for the treatment of Class II Malocclusion in Canines. Verify design with fabrication and mechanical testing.

Project Overview

We will continue to improve the software and physical device for the correction of class II malocclusions in dogs. This includes improving the work flow so that the veterinary orthodontist is able to adjust the teeth without having to use a software engineer. This will also include making a device that can be implanted in the dog's mouth in order for the teeth to be corrected. We will conduct mechanical testing to ensure the device will be safe and preform as needed.
